Hi, and welcome to Glider Sitters.

Sugar Glider Resources- Railroad- Sitters & Placement Homes

Glider Sitters is here to provide a central location to store data of those willing to glidersit for others while on vacation, business trips, or what ever reason. Glider RailRoads are a way to help get a glider from one point to another. Information on available Emergency Rescue Foster Homes and Permanent Homes is posted on a volunteer basis and the owners/admin/staff of GliderSitters takes no responsibility for the reliable nature of those individuals. Please ask for references and check those references.

There will be some rules that MUST be followed and they will be strictly enforced.

Rule 1. Glider Sitters is a G rated board. Illegal substances, flaming, sexually explicit, cursing, spamming, and abusive or negative personal posts are not allowed.

Rule 2. Be polite,courteous and respectful to other board members at all times. Abusive, flaming or inappropriate comments toward another person or a person's thoughts or ideas, will not be tolerated.

Rule 3. Advertising will not be allowed on the site. If you choose to charge for glider sitting, that is between you and the person who needs a sitter.

Rule 4. Abuse, flaming or inappropriate comments directed toward Glider Sitters, its Moderators and Administrators, or failure to comply with the direction of a Moderator or Administrator, the poster(s) may be warned, suspended or banned at the discretion of the board administrators.

Rule 5. If there is a personal misunderstanding, please handle it by email or private message, and refrain from abusive or inappropriate comments. Bashing through the PM system is still bashing and will not be tolerated. If it is an appropriate public discussion, please keep all comments rational, helpful and cordial. No implied or personal references by names of members should be used in a negative manner.

Rule 6. Do not post names, phone numbers or addresses of other people on the board without their permission. Comments of how a glider sitter worked out is allowed providing that it is kept within reason. We do need to know who is a good and/or a bad glider sitter.

Rule 7. Signatures: Please keep your signature relatively short,300 characters or less. Only board icons and special approved icons are allowed in your signature. Limit your gremlins to 6 per post in signature.

Rule 8. All pictures in posts must be in the text section of the post (not the signature), and must be no greater than 250x250 pixels. Non-board “smilies” or other images should not be used on a regular basis, but only as it helps to better understand the post or thread. All images must comply with a "G" rating. Avatars must be in good taste and not violent or sexual in nature. Again, all images must comply with a "G" rating.

Rule 9. Only one screen name/ user name is allowed per member. Signing up under more than one user name will cause all user names for that person to be banned.

Rule 10. Only Sugar Glider related websites may be linked to from the board or in profiles. All others will be deleted. Links to any drug companies or any NON-G rated sites will cause immediate deletion of the user's account.

Glider Sitters, it's owners, admin and moderators are not responsible for any issues that develop with any experience related to information found on GliderSitters. We are only here to provide a reference source for those looking for assistance. We are not responsible for the posts of others. We will try our best to moderate the board to remove offensive posts but each person must moderate themselves. Lets all act like adults and be kind to each other.
