Who are the volunteers and what is needed to become one.A RR volunteer is a warm hearted generous person who wants to help gliders get to their destination.
Volunteers will help transport a glider from point a to point b. The distance a volunteer travels is decided by that volunteer. There are no limits to the distance you can volunteer to drive.
Requirements for volunteers are a reliable vehicle and a cell phone. Cell phones are a must so that you can have a way to contact the person you are meeting if there are any problems or if you get lost and can't find them.
Volunteers are not reimbursed for their time or expenses. Their reward is knowing they have helped a glider get home again.
